NFC stopped working in iPhone SE2 on iOS 16.2

Has there been any movement on this issue? My credit card and my diabetes sensor no longer work. I have replaced sensor, deleted app, reset network setting, reset handset...to no avail.

Apple help or ANY help is appreciated!

Any Updates? I have the same Problem on my 13 mini since 16.2. 16.3 didn‘t help. I‘ve even reset the phone and restored it from an iCloud Backup. Don‘t know what else to do.

With iOS 15.4 it was a well known issue and got fixed with an update, but with 16.2 way lesser people seem to have this problem.

mine too! iPhone 12 pro, was perfectly fine before 16.2, and then suddenly the nfc doesn’t work after I updated it to 16.2, and 16.3 is just the same.. I don’t know whether it’s a hardware issue or a glitch on the software

Well, went round and round with a “genius”…went to a 3rd party Apple repair place and they could not find the issue.

Upgraded to the SE (5G) and iOS 16.3 and it works. Did a hard reset on my old handset AFTER upgrading and the NFC did NOT work.

Gotta love forced obsolescence.

Try to restart your iPhone to see if the problem persists

Just updated to 16.3 earlier today. Still no NFC.

Hey Apple, just updated to IOS 16.3 to try and get the nfc working. But it doesn’t work on my iPhone 8. It was working fine before a previous update. When are you going to fix this?
