I updated my iPad mini 6th gen to iOS 18 but now the iPad won't turn on, hard reset doesn't work and techs at Genius Bar could not resolve issue either. Contacted Apple Support and they said they cannot replace because it's out of warranty. The device is only 2 years old with no previous issues and well taken care of.
Has anyone else had the same issue?
Is there anything else I can try?

2 years old, out of warranty, genius bar could not solve it with their own tools.
They tried to force update it and so on, to no avail

I have the same exact iPad and the same exact problem. My iPad mini is within the apple care warranty, but I have no clue if the apple care will cover their own os bricking their own device.
