Apple watch stopped making Whatsapp notification sound after ios11 update
Hi everyone, I’ve just updated my watch series 6 to IOS11 and since doing that my watch no longer makes the classic notification “ding” when I receive a Whatsapp message. Up until now it always made this sound and now it only vibrates, doesn’t change if it’s on silent or not. I haven’t changed any settings and they are all unchanged on my iphone, watch, watch app, Whatsapp itself… I’ve checked everywhere. I’ve also rebooted both devices, no change.
All my other notification sounds seem to be working fine, Whatsapp is the only problem.
I’m guessing this is just an error or a bug but has any one else experienced this on their watch? Or would anyone know what the problem could be?
