So my watch has been draining just in the past two weeks, 7/2024. After a full night of charging 100%, it only lasts 7 hours. Versus it used to last almost 17 hours. What has happened? It has to be an update problem, as I have done nothing different with my watch. I don't want to buy a new watch.
Please do a forced restart of your Apple Watch. Then monitor the battery consumption over the next 24 to 72 hours. I’ve linked to the Apple Support article on forced restarts. A forced restart is more than just turning the watch off and on, so follow the instructions.

Which series Apple Watch do you have and what Watch OS version is it on?
I’m having the same issue. Battery fully charged at 11pm, then at 60% by 6am. I have a series 9, OS 10.5. Thank you.
