I haven’t been able to access my photos lately

2 days ago I could send photos, save them and just access them in general but then it started asking me for permission! I haven’t messed with the system nor have any of my family members so I cant bring myself to understand why this is all happening. Whenever it asks me for permission it doesnt show the usual ‘allow’ and ‘dont allow’ buttons but rather it tells me to go to settings but i cant seem to allow it to access the photos no matter how many ways i try! I tried privacy>photos but it told me there were no apps requesting access to the photos!! I also tried going to the camera setting, still nothing. The App settings didnt have the suitable setting for photos so there was no way to access them from there. I tried everything that others recommended but I still cant access photos! Does anyone know why this is happening or how to help me?

Have you tried a Forced Reset?

Force restart iPhone - Apple Support

Are you in fact using an iPhone 6 and iOS 15?

Can you provide more information? What is "it?" Are you talking about the Photos app, or the Camera app, or the Mail app, or what? Can you tell us precisely what "it" says when asking for permissions? Small screenshots would be one way to be specific.

Do you synchronize your iPhone with iCloud Photos? Do you also sync a Mac?

if so, do you have “Optimize Storage” checked in Photos’ Settings

Have you added any new apps lately?
