Issues with iPad OS 17.5.1

Since 6/18/24 my iPad had not wanted to connect to wifi and would intermittently work on hotspot. Apple says there is nothing wrong with device (iPad Air 4th Gen) after running diagnostics and wanted me to come in. Before I had the chance to go in my iPad magically gained wifi capability an hour before my appointment... However certain services, mainly iCloud services and iMessage, have been unoperable. Upon finding these other posts about users with similar issues I've decided not to waste my or Apples time at the genius bar and allow them to fix it on the back end with an update. Just wanted to post this to make sure others knew they were not crazy. My iPad was working flawlessly before the update to 17.5.1 and I have been very thankful that this is my first big issue with an update, however it is a weird one. Nothing is wrong with my ISP (other than the norm issues) and my other Apple devices (Macbook Air 2022, Iphone 15 Pro, Iphone 13 Pro) are connected to iCloud and are working perfectly fine.

I appreciate the sentiment but are you going to then let me know what I could see is the issue? I have tried all the things Apple and others have tried to remedy the situation short of taking the device in. Not to be brunt but if you have nothing helpful to say, just keep it to yourself. I was looking more for remedies/letting others know I had this issue which is what this platform is for.

Also, they are other community pages that are detailing weird issues that popped up after the updates to 17.5.1 respectively, and not just on iPads but iOS as well. If there is magically a reason my iPad worked fine the minute before update (which obviously it needed trust codes and WiFi in order to download and install to begin with) and then the second it turns on from the update has all these issues than I’ll take it. But to say that my assumption is “false” is kinda high and mighty when I know for a fact different devices can respond to updates differently. This is just the first major issue I had that came from an update.

Do we not remember that iPhone 15’s had cellular connectivity issues en masse that had to be remedied by a patch???
