Recorded Takes Disappeared and Regions Empty

Hi Guys, I'll be grateful if you help me resolve the following issue:

I had a guitarist record in Project 1 and Project 2 of a song.

To mix both, I imported the guitar takes of Project 1 into Project 2 using Logic's Browsers button.

However, when opening Project 2 his recorded regions are showing empty. The regions are there, but there are no waves in them...

I never deleted the files....

It also happened during the recording session and I had to ak the guy to play them again, which was very odd...But after the second take I was sure I had saved the tracks...

Do you have any ideas how I can solve this, please?

How can I find the recorded files on the Hard Drive?

Are you able to hear the recordings in project 1? Is so you can do this. You should be able to command-c to copy the region in Project 1 you want to use. Now under FILE select open recent and open project 2. Logic will ask you if you want to close project 1. Select don’t close. When Logic 2 loads you can select the track you want the region to go on and place the play head where you want and type command-v to paste. You can then go back to project 1 and select another guitar track to copy and paste another region.

The way to switch between projects is the use the WINDOW menu and select your projects at the bottom. When you’re done go back to Project 1 and close the project.

if you have two monitors you can have one project on each screen and Shift-Drag the region from one project to the other.
