Apple Watch Randomly Requiring Passcode

I have an Apple Watch Series 9 and an iPhone 15 Pro Max. Both are running the most recent OS. This morning my watch is randomly requiring my passcode.

The Simple Passcode is set up.

Watch is set up to Unlock With iPhone.

Wrist Detection is turned on.

Erase Data is turned on.

These settings have been unchanged since I set up the watch many months ago.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.
