iPhone 14 Plus if bought from the USA.
The number of active eSIMs depends on your device and whether you're using a physical SIM card as well. Most devices have limitations on the number of simultaneous connections they can manage.
- With a physical SIM card: In this case, you can typically only have one active eSIM at a time. This is because the device is using one IMEI number for the physical SIM and another for the eSIM, leaving no additional slots for active connections.
- Without a physical SIM card: If you remove the physical SIM, some devices may allow you to activate two eSIMs at once. This is because both IMEI slots are now free for eSIM usage.
Even if you can't have multiple eSIMs active simultaneously, you can usually store several eSIM profiles on your device (often around 8 or more). This lets you easily switch between them as needed without needing to contact your carrier.
Note: To use two different providers, your iPhone must be unlocked. Otherwise, both plans must be from the same provider. If a CDMA network provides your first SIM, your second SIM won't support CDMA. Contact your network provider for more information.
If you have an enterprise or corporate data service plan, check with your company administrator to see if they support this feature.
