Ever since the latest Apple TV update came out my LG Magic remotes cannot control the Apple TV, I got them to work for a couple of days but they have gone back out and I cannot get them to work with the Apple TV. Is this a known issue or is there a fix?
Apple TV 4K, tvOS 17
Many people having this issue across a wide variety of TV Brands. Looks to be a tvOS 17.4 bug. Probably just have to wait for Apple to fix.
One person claimed to resolve it by resetting the Apple TV to defaults, but I am not willing to try that right now.
I'm having the same issue.. weird it was working fine a few days ago..
it's a bug. the problem might intermittently fix itself, but still a bug you can't get around. we need wait for the bug fix (hopefully) in version 17.5
tvOS 17.5 is now available and fixes the problem.

Same issue for me. My LG remote operates the ATV with the exception of the powering on/off. This same setup has worked for years until recently.
Both the TV and ATV (17.5.1) are running latest version. I've tried restarting ATV, reconfiguring ATV (i.e., OTT) on the TV with no luck. I'm in agreement that it must be a bug. Hopefully this will get fixed soon.
This problem corrected itself after a week or so but just reoccurred from this past Sunday, April 28th. I can't understand how that could happen again.
