Panasonic remote no longer fully functional with Apple TV

Thanks for the idea. I tried to cycle power on the Apple TV box (twice), but that did not work. What did work for me was to go into the Apple TV system menu under Remotes and Devices. Once there, I selected Learn Remote from the Learned Remotes category. It asks you to press some of the key navigation buttons (up, down, left, right, select, and return) so it can learn to communicate with my Panasonic remote control. I hope this is a longterm fix, and that I don't have to repeatedly relearn the Panasonic remote.

Were you able to successfully complete the Apple TV process to “learn” your Panasonic remote control? Remember, you need to hold the indicated button down on your remote until the Apple TV box has finished learning it.
