Saturday I was able to add a new journal entry went to make an entry Monday for Sunday and when I open the app it is blank. I touch the + sign at the bottom noting happens

I’m having the same issue!! No access at all to any of my entries and the plus and menu icons are there but nothing happens when tapped. I reached out to Apple about this and they said the Journal app is a third party app and I would have to contact them directly…but they didn't have the phone number smh so I goggled it and this is what I found😒
If the app is there but unresponsive, try force closing it. For iPhone 13 with no Home button, swipe up from the bottom of the screen (or halfway if you start from the bottom bezel on newer models) and hold until you see the app previews. Find the Journal app preview, then swipe up on it to close it completely. Now, relaunch the app and try creating a new entry.
