After an update my Journal app started acting up. The cursor would jump all over the place and made typing impossible. Looks like lots of other had the same issue. I found that if I turned on voice dictation (mic button next to space bar) then the typing issue was resolved. Hope this helps!

Do your Part: Inform Apple of this fix. Apple barely reads these forums as it is on their own time. So, to get the word out to them, report it to them. Apple won't get back to you directly, but the more feedback they receive on this, the more they will know what is going on, and what needs to be fixed. Apple will know nothing of your fix, if you don't report it to them.
