Wallet not adding card, despite it working a day ago.

So I am trying to add a card to my apple wallet. However, it keeps declining saying “Could not add card, try again later or contact your card issuer for more information.” I literally added the same card yesterday and it worked when paying for my subscription. I am trying to buy something online and it didn’t work so I removed the card and readded the information, only for it to say “could not add your card.”


I know I am adding the card information correctly. I know my bank takes Apple Pay. What do I do?
