Control nearby devices doesn't show up on iPad Pro

I can't find the Control nearby devices on my iPad Pro (11 inches, 3rd generation) running iPadOS 17.3. Any clue about this?

I have the same issue and called Apple. Two phone calls and logs there was no fix. They wanted to do a full reset claiming a ‘cache’ issue. I called BS and asked them to explain a caching issue not presenting a menu. They couldn’t and I wasn’t about wipe/restore my iPad over this. Oh well ……..

While Control Nearby Devices is available from iPhone - and despite being documented within the iPad User Guide - this function appears to be absent from recent versions of iPadOS.

There are many iOS features that are not implemented within iPadOS - and the reverse is also true. Whether or not the omission of Control Nearby Devices for iPad is intended or is a bug is unknown.

You might be best advised to seek assistance from Apple Support. You can contact the Support Team using the Support link at top-right or bottom-left of this page.

Alternatively, you can initiate and manage your support cases from Apple devices using the excellent Apple Support App. If not already installed, the App can be downloaded from the App Store:
