Swiping right on instagram opens up a pre-populated message to a random company on WhatsApp?

I have the same problem too. It shows local ads. It resolves on its own sometimes. But it is always there. deleting the app and redownloading did not help. I suspect that this is a malware.

Facebook/Meta has done a terrible job lately keeping their apps updated. You would need to contact them for further assistance. This is not malware, just bad software.

No but I've had other issues with Instagram.

For it to be statistically significant, it would need to be tens or hundreds of thousands of people.

Try deleting both Instagram and Facebook and then adding Instagram back.
