Kindle app keeps crashing on iPad

Kindle version 7.0.0.100 (1.316105) keeps crashing on my iPad immediately on opening. iPad is up to date with iOS version 17.2. Any one know why or what the solution is?

Kindle is crashing on my iPhone 14 Plus and on my iPad Pro First Generation since today, Jan 3, 2024 Both my iPhone 14Plus and my iPad First Generation were working fine with the Kindle app last night. I read a book with my iPad Pro and later transferred to reading the book with my iPhone. When I woke up this morning, I wanted to continue reading the book. Regardless of which device I chose from the two devices I mentioned above, it crashes. The app comes up for 2 or three seconds. My IOS software on my iPhone 14 Plus and on my iPad Pro, First Generation are up to date. I have tried deleting the app and installing it again on my iPhone 14 Plus, but it still crashes. Has anyone another suggestion that I might try before I call Amazon and ask for help? Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Kindle app crashing on all devices Kindle keeps shutting down. I’ve tried restarting devices and reinstalling Kindle to no avail. Anyone know what’s going on and what we can do? I’ve also tried turning wi fi off.

There's another thread about this same thing. Someone there spoke to Amazon and apparently both Apple and Amazon are working on it 🤞
