Kindle app on IPad crashing

Same as amberdon posted

Kindle app version 6.61 immediately crashes on startup.

iPadOS 15.6 with plenty of storage available.

I’ve cleared the cache, offloaded and reloaded the app and have hard reset the iPad.

This has now been broken for over a month.

There’s a known issue with the current Kindle App - of which Amazon are reportedly aware and are working upon a fix. Until such time as the App Developer releases an updated App that resolves the issue, your only recourse is to seek help from the App Developer:
