I want to be able to have seperat profiles for family members in my home but I can not for the life of me figure out how to do it. Is this possible? Is it something that can only be done from a web browser? Please help!

Well that would maybe be my issue then. I'm using the app. When that didn't work I tried on my web browser but it still doesn't show it. I assume that's why it doesn't list users and groups.

It is possible to add multiple accounts to your Apple TV. To do this, each family member must have their own individual Apple ID. "When each member in a household has an Apple ID, you can create unique user profiles on Apple TV associated with the Apple ID of each household member, with Up Next lists, system language preferences, paired AirPods settings, music, Game Center data, and content recommendations personalized for the currently active user." Do note that "iCloud Photos and One Home Screen are only available for the Apple ID associated with the default user on Apple TV. To change the default user, see Change the default user account."
In order to add new users, on your Apple TV, simply open Settings > Users & Groups then Add New User. You can also press and hold the TV button on your Siri remote to open the Control Center, then select Profiles > Add New User.

Ah, I thought you were referring to a physical Apple TV box. The Apple TV apps on other devices don't support multiple profiles.

I seen this on the support page and tried doing it but when I go to settings the is no Users & Groups option.
Do note that multiple user profiles are only available on tvOS 16 and later.
Okay, I get it. So, my six year old and nine year old need their own separate Apple ID and password to have different profiles from me.
