Multiple profiles for one Apple TV+ subscription?

I’m reopening this topic as there seems to be no acceptable solution to it so far.

All streaming apps on AppleTV support multiple user profiles — all except TV+. The rationale provided by the “experts” is that AppleTV already supports multiple Apple IDs and that is supposedly the way to go if one wants custom history/bookmarks and preferences in TV+.

Then why would Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, HBO, Crave, etc. choose to support in-app user profiles? Probably because it’s the most intuitive and convenient way to switch profiles when streaming. Apple’s apparent idea that people should switch user IDs to be able to share one device is out of this reality. It may be appropriate to do so on a shared PC or even a mobile device but not on an entertainment device that is shared by a family.

Please, no savvy comments such as “multiple users should not share an Apple ID”. It is Apple’s choice to force people to enter an Apple ID to use an AppleTV.
