The Abyss 4K iTunes extras, not working

Is anyone else out there, having the same problem that I am having with the abyss 4K? I’m not able to access the iTunes Extras or the extended cut from any of my devices (iPhone 15, Apple TV 4K, etc) this is the first time this is ever happened to me with any Apple TV movie purchase. Really an annoying issue.

It took a few days after The Abyss was initially released, I can now access all the iTunes extras on devices that are supposed to support it. UNFORTUNATELY though, the special edition which is accessed through the iTunes extra menu is ONLY in HD. Strangely enough, i noticed on (Amazon) Prime Video this morning that the 4K Special edition version is a separate purchase to the theatrical cut, and that is the 4K version in UHD.


I wonder if Apple will end up making the 4K version of the special edition a separate purchase? This would make sense for people who only have access to the software apps of Apple TV (which dont support iTunes Extras).
