Standby Mode on iPhone 15 not displaying correctly after iOS 17.2 update

After updating my iPhone 15 to iOS 17.2 the standby mode doesn’t display properly.

it shows two empty “boxes” (one is set to be the clock, the other a photo).

I have tried switching it on and off from system settings and done a hard reset. Nothing has changed.

I have the same issue and found this solution to fix from another person in the community I am sharing the fix.

  • Settings
  • Face ID/Passcodes
  • Scroll down to “Allow Access When Locked” selections
  • Find “Lock Screen Widgets”, and slide on to green

This fix work for me.
