my photos in my iPhone album are blank white

I just fixed this for someone. Scrolling to the bottom of the photos app was a message saying I needed to accept new terms. Clicked the link and accepted terms. Then went back to app and went to bottom and and clicked the link to sync and whammo all thumbnails started appearing.

The phone was set to optimize phone storage rather than keep on the phone.

If you are using iCloud Photos, can you see your photos, if you log into your iCloud account on the web and open the photo app?

some things I know:

1 just wait

2 if it is on computer, delete tabs

3 if on I phone, power off (not just in sleep mode) and back on

4 if on iPhone, close tabs

When you say “photos app” what does this mean? I opened my app, scrolled to bottom and there is no option to accept terms. I gave same problem in that some of my photos are white, but they are all photos from a family member. Thoughts?

”Photos App” is the stock Apple photo app. The answer I gave was for photos that were all taken on the phone and not from a family member. I don’t know why yours might be blank other than maybe you lost permissions to view them. However your family member shared maybe undo and redo it?

I have live photos that are not live anymore. How do I make them back into live photos

i’ve changed the settings back to download and keep orignals, but will all my photos start to load again??
