Ford Sync, bluetooth pairing issue with iPhone 15Pro and iOs 17.1.1

I have had my Ford for many years and have synced mine and my wife's iphones to it many time as phones have been upgraded. My wife now has a new iPhone 15 Pro with iOs 17.1.1 and I cannot get it to pair. I have power-cycled both the phone and the car audio to no effect. Ford Sync can see the iPhone, and the iPhone can see Ford Sync. The iPhone comes-up with a passkey and pair option, but ask it to pair and it eventually fails. Ford Sync does not display a matching passkey.

I have been having the issue since iOS 17.1.1 and I haven’t updated my Sync (I’m still on an old school 2011 version), so the service center may be right on this one.

Well mine worked for a day and now it won’t connect again. Not sure if it’s a problem with the phone or the ford sync. This is the first time I got a pro model iPhone and it’s really been a disappointment. It randomly drops off WiFi too. First world problems for sure, just frustrating when you pay to have all this stuff and it doesn’t work as well as the old stuff.

This is happening to me as well. Phone was connected to ford sync (sync2, 2013 f150) and recently became sporadic with connecting and now won’t at all. I deleted the phone from the truck and had my phone forget ford sync. Power cycled everything and when the truck is discoverable and I click sync on the iPhone it says unable to connect immediately on the phone.
