Mail disappears

If my wife reads (not deletes) mail on her iPhone, the email disappears from her MacBook Pro. Both are signed into the same Apple ID.

On your Mac, is it set up as an IMAP account or POP?

OK, in a Browser log into your WebMail, is all your Mail there?

Are you running any VPN, Anti-Virus, or Cleaning apps?
