Suddenly No Internet Connection for iphone 15 Pro Max

My iphone 15 Pro Max has suddenly stopped connecting to the internet for both my cellular network and wifi.

For Cellular: It indicates that I have 5G, but no applications of phone functions have internet access. I have rebooted, reset network connection, and plugged into my laptop to force update to the most recent software update.

For Wifi: The phone connects to the network, but indicate "No Internet Connection." My wifi network is performing fine for other devices, but I restarted the modem and router for good measure. As stated above, I have rebooted, reset network connection, and plugged into my laptop to force update to the most recent software update.

The issue is clearly with the phone. No settings were change or new apps downloaded. A VPN is not running.

I agree! Worst phone I ever had. This thing called 911 by itself today and it continuously opens Siri who starts talking, again without any prompting. Today it stopped connecting to the internet and in numerous locations. I have been on the phone with the phone carrier for about 2 hours adjusting the settings etc. I am done with Apple!!

Check your WiFi Router / Modem for --> Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points ...



Connecting to Wi-Fi is the initial step, followed by establishing an internet connection.


However, it's important to note that connecting to Wi-Fi does not automatically guarantee an internet connection. In the event that you are unable to connect to Wi-Fi, the issue may stem from settings on your iPhone or the router/modem.


On the other hand, if you are unable to establish an internet connection despite being connected to Wi-Fi, the problem is likely related to the settings on your router/modem. In such cases, it is advisable to promptly contact your Internet Service Provider (ISP) for assistance.



For your Internet connection.

  • Over Cellular: contact your Carrier (Cellular Service Provider). The agency that issued the SIM to you
  • Over WiFI: Contact your ISP (Internet Service Provider), the agency that provided the Internet Service on your Modem/Router to you

You auto-post this response for everything. I've seen it in other posts. This is simply a "catch-all" response putting ownness on anything but the apple device. But in this case, it is the iphone. It's not the router, modem, ISP, or cellular service provider. Also, even just probabilistically, is it more likely that it's an issue with every single wifi network and with the cellular service provider, or a glitch with the iphone? Since I've already gone through the troubleshooting, it's the ladder.

I have an Iphone 15 Pro and have the same problem. My wife has a 14 and many many times while out together her phone easily connects to the internet using cell service while mine is reporting "unable to connect to the internet." No matter what I do, it simply won't connect. Our settings are the same, our carrier is the same but the iPhone 15 is just not able to connect to the internet reliably. VERY disappointed in this phone and makes me completely rethink my future Apple phones. Especially since Apple either can't, or won't, address the obvious issue
