We used to ask Siri for either the current moon phase or handy stuff like “when is the next full moon”. Seems she lost that in io16 but was hoping it was a bug. Still not working in ios17. Not dropped in release notes I don’t believe. Anyone else miss this?

Thanks. I went to suggest but there’s no option to give feedback on Siri that I see. There’s one for the Weather app, but that app actually does show the moon phase and when the next full moon. My request is for Siri to just quickly give the answer, which is gone. Siri hasn’t gotten any major improvement since it was released in 2010 (at which point it was amazing), so I shouldn’t be surprised there’s not even a place to ask for improvements to it!
So yeah, I’ll continue spending more time and more steps than I used to for the same information which it still tracks. No need for another app - she just won’t say what she knows. :)

I don't actually care. However, there are lots of Moonphase apps, some with very nice widgets.

Siri is a part of the operating system. Just put the feedback under "iPhone."
