Apple TV on tvOS 17.1 turning on by itself, seems to have started since tvOS 17?

I have a repro on this one. Since upgrading to tvOS 17.1, the Apple TV (latest gen HW with Ethernet) turns on by itself randomly. Could be minutes after having been turned off or hours. Very annoying.

Ok this is driving me crazy. Just walk back home to turn TV off as security camera reported it was on... I'm out of ideas on this one. If anyone has any feedback... I'm all ears xD

Apple Support deleting a previous attempt at this post refering unreleased publicly available update is a new low: sure wish teams would be more proactive in bringing me help.

This is happening consistently on two Apple TV’s in our home, both connected to Sony TV’s. It’s frustrating to have to remember to unplug them at night. This is happening on TV OS 17.1.

Any news on this one?
