Apple TV Music App Stopped Playing Playlists

A few days ago my Apple TV 4k stopped playing my iTunes playlists. I can play individual artists, but not any playlists I have created. It used to work fine but now it just says "There was a problem connecting." Then, when I tried to use the "Computer" app to connect to my Mac, it only plays a couple of songs and then shuts off. The entire reason I bought an Apple TV was for access to my iTunes library and playlists. How do I fix this?

Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities! If you haven't already, restart your Apple TV to see if you still get that error. Restarting can fix many issues. We also suggest unplugging the device when it's powered off before powering it back on: Turn Apple TV on or off.


If the behavior continues, you may need to Reset or restore your Apple TV to its factory settings.
