Prediction on new iphone update 17.0.3

How do you turn it off. It makes my text messages look crazy and slows me down texting.

the question: how do you make predictive text WORK after the new update?" the original poster (and everyone here) clearly can't make it do what it is supposed to. When you click the middle highlighted word, it should select that word, as you said, but it doesnt and THAT is the issue. So, can we get an answer please.

Thank you for using the Apple Support Communities! This feature is inline text predictions as listed below:

Apply inline text predictions

As you type, predictions that complete the word or phrase you’re typing appear inline in gray text. Tap the Space bar to accept the prediction for the word or phrase; keep typing to reject it.

If you accept an inline prediction and then change your mind, tap the Delete key, then tap the word you were in the process of typing.

I would also like to know this. It’s really annoying.

Settings > General > Keyboard > Turn Predictive Text OFF

I realize I posted to kuy192, which isn't what I meant to do. I meant this for the two posters above their post, which is how to turn predictive text off, which they asked how to do.
