How do i keep the predictive bar but stop this iphone 15 pro from auto filling my words? I am trying to type “tryna” and it auto fills to “trying to”

it keeps trying to fill in my words , guessing what i am saying even if thats not what im saying

iPhone 11, iOS 16

ugh, this is so apple. just giving the first best google answer, then acting like the issue is resolved and just stop replying. But i think it's impossible guys. They f'ed it up.

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. You can see how to turn off predictive text with these steps:


To turn predictive text off or on:
1. Touch and hold the smile emoji  or the globe icon globe icon.
2. Tap Keyboard Settings, then turn Predictive on or off.
Or go to Settings > General > Keyboard, and turn Predictive on or off
