iCloud Photos

I recently upgraded our MacBook Pro to Sonoma 14 and can no longer access photos in the iCloud. I receive the following message: “Photos Library.photoslibrary” is in iCloud Drive, and needs to be moved to a folder on your Mac to open.

I have rebooted, tried to repair the library and can access the photos from my iPhone 11. I can access the pictures using Finder in the iCloud.

There is nothing in the Pictures folder on my MacBook Pro.

Transferring Photos from iPhone to Mac:

If you can't do so directly... You need to upload these photos to iCloud Photos on your iPhone, and then download them to your Mac using iCloud.com/photos in your Web browser.
