I need to send a Photos folder and maintain the current arrangement. There are 978 photos arranged to match a corresponding list of descriptions. The usual Photos "scramble on transfer" is a disaster. The photos are not titled and were created at random times so none of the Photos sort choices seem to work.

For your future use: you can use, from the menu, "File>Export>Export nn Photos" and choose "Sequential" for the file name:
and it will produce a series of files like this:

I’ve found something that works. I converted all files to jpeg with max resolution then shared the result on Dropbox. The photos files were listed in numerical order that matched the original row-by-row sequence in the Photos folder.
