Keynote 13.2, Shift+Enter no longer works.

Hey folks,

My Keynote, along with Numbers and Pages, got a fresh update to the latest version (13.2 on macOS 13.6) and now I can't do a soft line break in all of them. I did some digging and guess what, back in the day (around 2009), it used to be Control+Enter, and believe it or not, it's back to that now!

I mean, across all other apps like Notes and TextEdit and MS Office it works as it used to. It's driving me nuts because I have to retrain my brain to use Control instead of Shift, and it's on the opposite side of the keyboard. I've tried to remove it and install back, but it didn't work.

I'm not holding my breath for Apple to fix this anytime soon. Does anyone know how to roll back to the previous Keynote version, 13.1?

Thanks!

You can send Feedback to Apple from the Keynote application menu. That is the only means to communicate with the Keynote product team about this inane change to a long-standing user keystroke tradition.

Microsoft has certainly not changed shift+enter in Word v16.77.1 because they are more in tune with how users apply their product than Apple is with its customers.
