This is frustrating because I can't keep my queue current.

Up Next will keep track of your watch history. When you have completed watching a movie, it would get removed from the Up Next queue list automatically. When you have finished watching a TV show episode, the tile in Up Next would shift to the next episode if available, else it would get (temporarily) removed from the Up Next queue list when there are no new episodes, and would re-appear when a new episode is released. If you want to remove a movie or TV show from the Up Next row, so that it no longer shows in Up Next, then you can do that by highlighting the tile, then use center button to press-and-hold, until the contextual menu overlays with options. [The overlay layout has changed with tvOS 17.] One of the options would be ‘Remove from Up Next’; another would be ‘Mark as Watched’. Remove an item from Up Next - Apple Support

The Watch Now page has many more rows, that are not editable.

Also just noticed when pressing the centre button it moves the thumbnail of the program to different areas of the screen

On the Home Screen, with all the app tiles, it would function like that: you can rearrange the icons to a different position, if you like it better in a different order. (Similar to iPhone or iPad.) Customize the Apple TV Home Screen - Apple Support
