iCloud contacts has been corrupted please help

My iCloud contacts have automatically imported some type of data string into many of them, hundreds!

At the end of the original phone number, it has added XSOCIALPROFILE

This makes using Siri to call impossible.

It also adds several additional phone entries:

typefacebook

xuser_and the person's name

xuserid_and a random string of numbers

xdisplayname_and the person's name along with a super long facebook url

It appears to be coming from facebook somehow.

I remember a long time ago being able to turn on facebook contacts as an option in iCloud contacts, but that option doesn't seem to exist anymore. If I could find it, I would turn it off.

It also creates difficulties when searching for numbers.

I have edited dozens of them manually, but I don't know why it is happening and don't see any way to correct it . Does anyone know why this happens?
