iOS Amazon App Videos Play At Full Volume

When in the iOS Amazon app, every time I click on a video within a product’s page it plays at full volume. Adjusting the volume with the volume rocker adjusts the phones volume according to the onscreen volume indicator but the volume of the video still does not change; it remains at full volume. I can mute the video by pressing the volume indicator on the video but it is either no sound or full blast. Is anyone aware of a fix for this?

I have provided an iCloud link to a screen recording to demonstrate the problem.

(You may need to unmute the video as on my device it is muted by default.)

If this is only happening on the Amazon Prime video app, then you need to contact Amazon for help with their software.

Here is a link to their help page -

You can also try a forced restart to see if that fixes the issue.

• Press and quickly release the volume up button

• Press and quickly release the volume down button

• Press and hold the side button.

• When the Apple logo appears, release the button.
