When I play a video in Safari, it has volume even though I turned the sound down completely prior to playing the video.

Before the new iOS update, videos would remain silent if I muted the volume through the Control Center. However, with the latest update, playing a video causes the sound to turn on automatically, even if I've turned the volume down completely. Is there a setting or a fix so it does not change the volume on my phone?

I have the same issue and it is extremely annoying. I even click out of the video, lower the volume back to mute, and when I click on the video it raises the volume AGAIN. How do we stop this annoying feature, Apple?
