How do I request a refund for a charge that was not associated with my Apple ID?

A 44.76 charge appeared on my cc transaction log from muscle-booster.io. I have been in email chats with their “support” for two days telling them to remove or refund the charge. I have never downloaded or signed up for their app. They admit that they can’t find an account under my Apple ID email yet they have charged me. Clearly someone used my CC fraudulently yet they can’t find an account using a credit card that ends in the last 4 numbers that I gave them.

thwy have no customer service telephone number and they keep asking me for an invoice number or ID in my confirmation email—which I obviously don’t have since I wasn’t the one who signed up for their app.

my CC company is investigating the fraud but this company is a joke. Can apple do something about this. I’ve read lots of other people who have gone through this with this company.

If you purchase something from a retailer and dislike the product, you return it for a refund. If you purchase Muscle Booster, and think it’s trash, they charge you anyway and make it nearly impossible to get a refund. They hide behind overly complicated, non-customer focused “Terms” and charge you regardless of your satisfaction with the product.

Update: The only way I resolved was a Credit Card Dispute. My credit card company canceled the charge. The Muscle Builder customer service stated " that was certainly my right, if I wanted to file a dispute....." but they never offered a direct refund. (as if they have the authority to tell me my rights...lol)

Horrible customer service and attitude. Fortunately, they can't outfight Chase Manhattan Bank :)
