or

While we shutdown the MacBook Air M2 (2022) and do not close its lid, then after pressing any button, the MacBook automatically turns on.

Then why there is a power button in MacBook M2, this thing has not been understood till date.

You'll have to ask Apple why they did it this way. We are not Apple and we cannot speak for Apple.

"Why" type questions are the domain of Apple programmers and the R&D department. And Apple is tight lipped.

If you ever have your Mac freeze and cant't shutdown, you'll understand what good the button is. Press and hold for 10 seconds and the Mac will shut down. Then to restart it, press the button briefly.

Features are just that ... alternatives and such. You can always ignore the features that don't mesh with your work flow.

To clean the keyboard on my M1 MacBook Air, I use a third-party app that when run, will disable all keyboard and TouchBar input (the trackpad remains active so you can disable/shut down the app when you're done). I've used it for many years with no issues whatsoever.
