Notes password Does Not Work to Unlock Notes

Hello,

I just got a new phone, iPhone 14 pro from an Xr. I updated the operating system on my Xr to the newest OS version at the time, iOS 16.6. I got my new phone, and restored the files to my new phone from my old phone. When I go to the notes app and try to unlock my locked notes with the password that I have been using for a while for notes, it says its incorrect.

I have tried resetting my notes password with no luck, are all my locked notes really gone for good? I have a lot of important notes. Any help would be amazing.

Thank you!

iPhone 14 Pro, iOS 16

B. Restore from a Backup:

Did your ever back up your iPhone with these installed? If so, back up you could back up your iPhone, and then restore it from the backup.

C. iCloud in Settings: Look in iCloud settings in each device, and make sure that Notes is clicked. If it is, then unclick it, and then click it again.
