Can't add fonts to a specific collection in FontBook Ventura

I can no longer add fonts to the collections since I upgraded my computer to Ventura. When I control-click to add fonts to the collection, the fonts are added to My Fonts rather than the collection I had originally chosen. Additionally, drag and drop into the collection does not work. Once the fonts are in My Fonts, I have to manually select them, move them to the desired collection. FontBook settings are setup to intall fonts in Current User. Anyone have any recommendations? It's not just you. It's a bug that doesn't seem to affect everyone. I first saw this issue on an Intel based 2018 mini under Ventura. I hoped it would go away when I sold that Mac and got an M2 Pro mini. No such luck. It does the exact same thing.
