iPhone locked and can’t be found in the system
I recently transferred all data from my iPhone to another used one we had in the house that had previously been erased.
The transfer was successful, but somewhat after that, but before I deleted the data on the “old phone,” the new phone timed out and needed a pass code to open it. I didn’t even get to set a pass code before it timed out, so I have gone through so many attempts to open it that it is not in an “unavailable” state. I also mistakenly removed the locked out device from my account, so all the normal fixes are useless, since Apple can’t “see” the locked out phone.
I’m fine with erasing the “new” one and starting over, since the old one is working fine with all its data still intact.
can anyone advise?
