If you do not have a Trusted Device connected to your Apple ID, you can also use your trusted phone number to receive the Two Factor code via SMS or a Call.

When you try to sign in with your Apple ID and it asks for a six-digit code from your Trusted Device, you can choose to receive the code in another way, just below the code field. There you can choose SMS or call.
