Accidentally deleted a payment method

Accidentally deleted my debit card from Apple Pay. Whenever I try to add it again it says it can't verify the payment information, even though nothing has changed and I accidentally deleted it an hour ago. It's still there in my wallet, but I can't use it. I have the latest iOS and I don't know what could be wrong. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There are many possible reasons you might be experiencing issues. So let’s start with a few basic steps. I’ve added links to support articles that may offer solutions to any issues you might encounter.

Your bank sends the verification, not your iPhone or Apple. One of the most common issues is the bank has the wrong phone, email address etc. Another issue is if you do update the information, new information is added to account, but the system uses old information as default. Please reach out to your bank and make sure the bank has the most recent information and is used as default.
