Can someone interpret my crash log?

I came back to my computer to find a message: "This computer had to restart because of a problem." I've no idea what the problem was: I left the computer in sleep, and it wasn't performing any tasks that I had set up. This is the crash log. Thanks!

The first order of business with any Mac affected by "anti-virus" junk is to remove it. Uninstall the "AVG" product according to its instructions. Rule 1 of Macs is don't install junk.

  • Note: Uninstalling products not obtained through the App Store typically requires following specific procedures implemented by the product's developer. As a rule I do not install things that modify Macs in that manner, but more importantly I do not know how to remove them. You will need to research how to do that on your own.

The Movavi product implicated in the KP report is here:

/Library/Extensions

To open that folder, copy the entire line above and paste it in the Finder's Go menu > Go to Folder... field. Locate that file and drag it to the Trash. You will need to confirm that action by authenticating with your Admin credentials.

Thanks John. I installed the free version of AVG so long ago that I can't remember, on the advice of an article in a Mac mag. Since then, my bank has provided me with another app (Malwarebytes), which it insists I use if I use internet banking, and for which they pay the subscription. I just never got round to removing AVG, but I have now. Thanks for your instruction about Movavi, something I'd forgotten that I'd installed and have now removed. Cheers!
