Unable to run VirtualBox

Trying to run a VM for a specific app using VirtualBox

It tells me, "Unsupported hardware architecture detected" and that it only runs amd64, not arm64

Monterey ver 12.6.3

16 GB memory

Installed 7.0.10 VirtualBox

if you attempt to run an intel x86 image in virtualbox then that will never work it only works with arm architecture like the m1 and 2 .. are based

not sure if virtualbox support arm at all really parallels and wmware make a big deal out of supporting it but virtualbox is free so who knows
