This would be as expected. You need to determine if the hearing aids have a microphone in them and were designed for Bluetooth calling. When any Bluetooth headphones are connected, it takes precedence over the microphone and speaker in the iPhone.

I have a Iphone se version 17.4. When I pair my beltone hearing aids my Phone mic doesn't work. If i unpair hearing aids everthing is normal
