I have been trying to watch ‘Platonic’ for the past 2 weeks on an LG tv, but the sound completely cuts out after a few seconds every time. Other series I’ve tried play without issues. It is extremely frustrating

Resetting the Apple TV app or Apple TV+ app removes your personal information and restores the app to its original settings. If you plan to sell or give away your device, or uninstall the app, you might want to reset it first.
1. Open the Apple TV app or Apple TV+ app.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Choose the Reset option.
If you lost or can't access your device but are still signed in to the Apple TV app or Apple TV+ app, remove the device from your Apple ID device list.
Reply back if that doesn't resolve the sound issue.

I have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app on my tv and it didn’t fix the problem.
I tried resetting as you suggested, but again it did not fix the problem.
Sound still cuts out after 10-15 seconds. This happens only on certain episodes of ‘Platonic’.
