No swoosh sound with email

Is anybody having problems with NO sound when sending or receiving emails. This is happening on my new Mac Book Air with M2 chip. (Ventura 13.3.1) I first noticed the problem after updating the security released the other day. Any suggestions. Also, seems the original sound when emails are sent or received is no longer available. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

No whoosh sound when sending email Hi all, I have a 2019 iMac running Ventura 13.3.1, and Mail Version 16.0 (3731.500.231). Since updating to Ventura I do not get any sounds when sending or receiving mail. I have new mail sound set in Mail settings and "Play sound for other mail actions" is also ticked I have restarted several times. I have also checked that my speaker is working and I get sounds for other apps but still no sounds for mail. Can anyone suggest a solution pleas

no whoosh sound in mail on iMac OS Ventura 13.4.1 Occasionally this (and a few other weird things) happen. Right now, I'm not getting the whoosh sound when I send an email.

Yeah, from time to time. I just live with it as it's of no importance to me.
